comprehending :: determining importance :: accurately recalling ::
"Research has shown that students recall more information when they underline and highlight passages within a text. The act of highlighting requires the reader to decide which sections of the text are worth remembering." (Dorn, L. J., & Soffos, C., 2005, p. 46)
Marking for accurate recall involves such activities as highlighting, underlining, adding bookmarks or sticky notes, and other physical or digital additions to the text that aid in the ease of future reference.
There are no prompts that are specific to marking, rather it is used as an aid for Accurately Recalling and used throughout the prompts.
