Another poem from the book MOXIE DAY and Family!

Play Ball

The dugout's where I get to play
when baseball season's here.
For basketball I play the bench.
Sometimes I get to cheer.
For golf I get to caddy clubs.
They say I should have fun.
At soccer sideline standing
I'm the best bar none.
Perhaps it's 'cause I'm clumsy,
or maybe 'cause I'm small,
in any case, when playing sports
I never touch the ball.
